We are an organisation working to move women from poverty to self reliance, and transform their communities for Christ.
Our organization depends on the generosity of donors and volunteers to achieve our goals. There are different ways of supporting our cause and we welcome any help we can get.
Join our women empowerment program for the women who live in rural areas in Uganda. Teach low income and vulnerable women to overcome difficult situations by giving them tools through education, practical skills to improve their quality of life. Give advice to small female businesses and provide professional help and care to those who have been victims of violence against women.
This program is for groups or individuals to help in organic farming in Ugandan villages. Come to learn, grow, meet new people, eat Ugandan food, create good memories and have fun in organic farms with animals. International Volunteers of any age are most welcome. Empower communities to practice sustainable agriculture. Alleviate poverty and hunger through your efforts in agricultural development. Eating ripe fruit right off the tree are possibilities within your reach.
Volunteers work alongside local teams to improve the living standards of women through microfinance and small scale business training support ventures. Volunteers help with making business plans, proposal writing, assisting the program directors, visiting the beneficiaries of the loans and interviewing communities that are part of the project. Depending on local needs, volunteers may also evaluate loan applications, perform risk analyses, monitor projects and oversee repayment.
Offer entrepreneurship and small scale business enterprise management skills to help improve the livelihoods of women. Practical skills in hairdressing, tailoring, knitting, bakery, arts and crafts, basic computer applications and any other practical skills are much needed.
